The University of Western Ontario and the Centre for Functional and Metabolic Mapping are pleased to announce the 2017 release of their  Ultra High Field MRI WINTER SCHOOL  to be held on March 17th – 20th, 2017.  This unique one of a kind program is offered by  scholarship only  and offers hands on participation with Ultra High Field MR training on our Siemens 3T, 7T and 9.4T scanners.  This is a fabulous  all expenses paid  opportunity for any Graduate student who is focusing on MR and who is in the Chemistry, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, Physics, Electrical Engineering or Math paths. University of Waterloo Department of Systems Design Engineering Participants Needed Do you do less than 150 minutes/week moderate to vigorous physical activity? We are looking for volunteers to take part in a study that investigates individuals’ perception of persuasive messages and the effect of those messages on their behavior. As a participant in this study, you will be asked to fill out an online survey for 17 days and go for daily 20 minutes brisk-walks for 14 days, over a period of 23 days. For upper-year Math students who are looking for meaningful volunteer opportunities, the International Peer Community (IPC) is a one-term peer mentorship program that matches new international students with upper-year volunteer mentors.   IPC volunteers will get to share their university experience with students from different parts of the world, help them settle in Waterloo, and provide valuable advice to them.
